Explanation
This is usually caused by one of 2 things. Either the computer hasn't finished opening the Virtual Machine and the SSLIP or the SSLIP failed to open when the VM finished starting.
Resolution 1
- Give your computer a few more minutes to finish opening the VM and the SSLIP
Resolution 2
- To correct the problem, double click the shortcut on your desktop labeled “Cyrious Server.RDP”
- If you are prompted to enter a windows username or password use the details below.
Username: User
Password: cyrious
- The virtual machine will begin to log you into the virtual desktop. The Cyrious SSLIP should start automatically. Once it has successfully started you will see the icon for the SSLIP location in your system tray by the clock as shown in the picture below. If you do not see it be sure to click the < arrow to expand the system tray.
- If you still do not see the Cyrious SSLIP icon you can manually start it by going to Start > All Programs > Cyrious Software > and clicking on Cyrious SSLIP. If you are prompted by Cyrious to enter a username and password please click Cancel. You do not have to actually log into the SSLIP for users to open SMS.
- Once you have started the SSLIP you can disconnect from the virtual desktop. You can do so by clicking the x in the top corner of the remote desktop window. This will disconnect you from the virtual desktop but will still allow everyone to access Cyrious.
- Everyone can now open SMS by clicking on the normal shortcut on your desktop.
